Q : Why did you become a client?
I gave myself a 55th birthday present. All the research I had read agreed that weight training was by far the most important thing to stay healthy and strong as you age. I figured the best gift I can give to myself and my family was to invest in my health. I read about Dan in the Stamford Advocate and wanted to give him a try. 30 minutes twice a week fit perfect into my schedule. I used to be a runner and had run four marathons, but no longer had the time or motivation to train. Running on a treadmill just wasn’t having the same results and was getting too hard on my joints.

Q : How has your body changed?
I now have rock solid abs and got rid of those annoying love handles. I can also fit into my jeans that I wore in my 20s. Muscles are building slowly, and I am now in the best shape of my life.

Q : How has your eating changed?
I stopped eating all those processed carbs. No more energy bars or breakfast cereals. I am no longer afraid of healthy fats or eggs anymore. I also started intermittent fasting (16/8 method) with excellent results. On holidays, I splurge without a dent to my fitness.
